Movie Groupies Presents the Little Mermaid

The mission of the Movie Groupie is a partnership between locals; the business community; education providers; and residents coming together with a goal to create safe, healthy & economically viable neighborhoods through information sharing, referrals, and community efforts in the Springfield, Chicopee, and other western mass communities. We are seeking funds to support our 2023 Movie Groupies Family Movie Night. The goal of Movie Groupies is to engage parents, families, residents, and the youth of Springfield through leadership, educational resources, social activities, and individual support. Movie Groupie is looking to build strong networks of family, friends, and community members, as well as meet some of the needs of the families at the poverty threshold in Springfield.

We anticipate 20 to 40 community residents at this year’s event. We are looking for monetary donations to sponsor movie tickets for families to have the opportunity to engage. The movie costs 9.50 per movie seat. Sponsors will have a chance to be promoted through social media promotion, flyers, and sponsor acknowledgment based on how many movie tickets we sponsor. We need the funds by June 1st, so families can have enough time to receive the tickets. Please take a glance at our sponsor package for movie tickets. Thank you for all the support to our community.

The Movie Groupies are hosting their first annual movie showing for our community on June 4th at noon in the Cinemark Theater of West Springfield . The movie we will be showing is the upcoming adventurous story of The Little Mermaid. This will be a free event for families to spend quality time with each other, so to support as many families in the Western Mass community. We can only distribute up to five tickets for each group. Please arrive 15 minutes early before the show, so families can have time to find their seats. Snacks and beverages are not included.
