Movement + The Meridians | 6-Class Series

Movement + The Meridians is a 6-class series designed to explore movement in relationship with the ancient practice of Shiatsu. We will focus on the five elements of Shiatsu, which include Fire, Earth, Metal, Water and Wood in tandem with their yin/yang organ meridians. We will learn basic Shiatsu Theory and the location of each organ's meridian pathway. We will then focus on movement exploration for each of the 5 elements, in addition to learning how to both gather and disperse Qi (vital energy) from each organ meridian, through simple guided movement stretches, explorations and simple exercises. This class is part lecture, part movement exploration and each student will receive a binder with the curriculum notes and a complimentary journal for note taking.It is open to all levels of movement experience.

DATES: This class is offered the last three Tuesday nights of January and February, 2025 from 7-8:30pm. The cost of the entire series of 6 classes is $175. I am offering an early bird discount of $25 using the promocode EARLYBIRDMOVEMENT that ends on Dec 10, 2025.

Attire: Please wear loose fitting clothing that you feel comfortable moving in. Bare feet or socks are recommended.
