Move Like Malcolm: A Wellness Event Celebrating Malcolm X's Centennial

All ages are welcome to attend. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.

Info: The first 30 minutes we'll allow people to get settled into the space and check-in. This will also be a time for introductions so we can get to know each other, learn more about Run Black & Green, and warm up for our walk/run.

Info: Attendees will have the option to walk or run for up to 2 miles. The hosts will inform and guide attendees through the routes on the Havenwoods State Forest trails based on which option they choose.

Info: We'll return from the walk/run for a short cool down and give people time to patronize the Black owned vendors who will be serving food and beverages for attendees to purchase. We'll then transition inside the Nature Center (the indoor space of Havenwoods State Forest) for a meditation centered around Malcolm X's words.
