Utilizing chair dance for this movement workshop, we will allow motivational music and movement to inspire us to unite in worship.

After a short, full body, warm up the group will learn simple choreography, while having fun and allowing the spirit of dance and music move us. No previous dance experience necessary.

Claudia DeVita is a graduate of the Hartford Conservatory of Music and Dance and following graduation in 1972 she opened Allegra Dance Studio on West Putnam Ave in Greenwich. Allegra Dance was the premier dance studio in Fairfield County boasting a staff of 15 top professionals in their fields and training 500 dancers weekly in classical ballet, modern dance, jazz, hip-hop, and tap. Claudia is presently teaching her Chair Ex program at- Atria Stamford, Hill House Riverside, Lapham Community Center in New Canaan, The Marvin in Norwalk, Darien Senior Center and Sellecks Woods in Darien. Claudia‘s class is highly motivating, utilizing inspirational and motivational music while making sure that each student has a great time, while getting a full body workout.
