New Year's Eve means champers, and we got ya covered with two exciting new additions to our bubblies from Mousse Fils, which specializes in pinot meunier, one of the three component varietals of champagne.
Our first bubbly is their traditional extra brut champagne made from a blend of 80% pinot meunier and 20% pinot noir. From a continual blend dating back to 2003, this particular bottle was disgorged on June 24.
The second bubbly is actually a fortified champagne called ratafia. A 100% meunier product from 2019 and 2020 harvests, the ratafia is fortified according to a 1947 recipe with superfine alcohol produced by a nearby still.
