Coming from Paris, France, Mourning Dawn came to life 20 years ago, and is considered as one of the pioneers in the Black/Doom metal genre. Their 5th album, "The Foam Of Despair", released in 2024 through Aesthetic Death (Esoteric, Fleurety) was a real artistic and commercial success, offering what the band does the best : Something between oppressive Death/doom and Black Metal aggressiveness with post/industrial influences. Think about Forgotten Tomb, Neurosis, Katatonia or Godflesh, and you can still get only a vague idea of what's played here. Not for the fainted hearts.

The bastard progenies of the witchfinder come together again, this time with fresh forces. Despite suffering a shameful defeat back in 2015, a new era unfolds now.
