Join us for a Free, in-person, hands-on program exploring the basics of mounting and preserving pressed plant specimens, as well as the importance of presses, mounted plants to the scientific community.

In this program, you will learn how to mount pressed plants to be preserved in a herbarium, and why these specimens are important to the scientific community and future conservation work in an area. You will be helping us mount specimens collected for the Flora of Boulder project, which will be placed in the Olga Lakela herbarium at the University of Minnesota, Duluth.
The program will last around 1:30 minutes and will be fully indoors.
