Mounted Orchid Workshop

Event Description -

Learn how to mount an orchid on lightweight and rot-resistant cork slabs. Orchids are epiphytes (plants that grow on other plants, but are not parasitic). We will mostly be using Phalaenopsis orchids in a variety of colors. The orchid you choose will be suited to stay on the board for a few years before needing to be replanted. We will be using cork slabs that is able to sustain continual watering. Each participant will receive a board prepped and ready for mounting your orchid.

Sorry, no discount for bringing in your own wood board.

$70 ticket includes all materials. Participants will also receive 15% off plants during the workshop. No experience necessary. We provide all materials. Feel free to BYOB, this is a private workshop in the space above the shop.

Location - Note this workshop is upstairs. If stairs are not accessible for you, we are happy to provide a private session in the shop at another time or you are welcome to use the terrarium building table in the shop during store hours. For these inquiries, please email [email protected].

REFUND POLICY - We will refund orders to original payment method up to 12 hours before an event. If you request a refund less than 12 hours before an event, we are sorry but we cannot issue you a refund to your original payment method or Eventbrite credit. Eventbrite is no longer issuing credit for future events.
