Course Overview: Mountain Training 2 day Mountain Skills course. This course is ideal for: Anyone interested in exploring the mountains
Previous experience required: Some hill walking experience and a reasonable level of fitness
Course location: Mountainous areas in Eryri/Snowdonia, meeting at the Tyn y Coed Hotel in Capel Curig.
Course covers: Planning a journey in the mountains, what to take and how to pack, navigation in the mountains, simple scrambling, common mountain hazards and how to deal with them, what to do in an emergency.
