You're Invited!A huge group of volunteers is planning a blowout Halloween bash at Mountain Light on Fri Oct 31 from 5 PM to 10 PM. So start planning your costume, invite a few friends and put it on your calendar. [We ask that you not broadly share this event, since it's intended to be for the ML community with ML members/friends bringing a few of their own friends.]
You can expect fabulous decorations, hours of carefully curated music and videos, photos as you enter the building, dancing, costume contest including a parade of contestants at 7 PM. Don't miss Lori Walters leading us in line dancing, and Geraldine Barker telling your fortune.
We'll offer soft beverages (sodas, iced tea (sweet and unsweet) and lemonade plus a soft punch. If you have a favorite beverage, then BYOB.
Food is being provided by attendees. Sign up on the paper sign up sheet at the Welcome Table in the MLUUC lobby.
We'll have table seating in the Sanctuary along with room for dancing. The Fellowship area will have a loop of spooky movies when you need some time to just chill and a fun and creative lineup of food.
Oh...and it's FREE!
