Get ready for the best Mountain Heritage Day ever. Fresno Flats Park be celebrating the history of hunting and fishing this year for an amazing day. There will be activities for all ages, including a Huck Finn fishing pond where kids will fish for 500 pounds of live rainbow trout delivered by San Joaquin Fish Hatchery in Friant. There will also be a kids fish touch pool, a kids archery range, an old fashion carnival, and historic building tours. We'll also have talks on hunting and fishing and hunter safety. We'll be raffling an actual black power rifle plus $3000 in prizes and we'll be having a black powder shooting competition at Sun Mountain Gun Club. You'll also enjoy a surf and turf meal with some of the fish that you catch! It will be an amazing day!
