The 2025 Mountain Folk Fest takes place again this year at the Reading Liederkranz grove. Tickets on sale now. We’re very pleased to again offer music workshops which create a learning/teaching/performance vibe for the fest. The schedule we’re working on is below … more info will follow soon.

MENTORING SESSIONS
11:30am to 12:15pm - Paula Taylor & Mike Andrews from Meadowood Music host “Get off the Page”, a session for musicians who want to learn more about leaving sheet music behind in favor of the liberating and exhilarating realm of improv music jamming. Bring your acoustic instruments.

3:45 to 4:30pm - Martha Spencer’s flatfoot dance and old time music class

Event Details
A wonderful, relaxing teaching, learning, performing music festival presented at the idyllic and historic Reading Liederkranz, high stop Reading, Pennsylvania's scenic Mt. Penn. Clean mountain air, a gorgeous shaded woodland setting with covered pavilions, main stage and a traditional beer garden combine to create a perfect setting for this celebration of acoustic bluegrass, folk and mountain music. The kitchen and bars are open with full food and beverage menu available. There are endless options to adopt and create your own special woodland music jam area. Workshops and stage shows happen throughout the fest. Persons 18 and under get in for free making the fest extremely family friendly.
