Proudly presented by the Meatball Runners, Mountain Creek Mayhem is a triple-distance trail-running celebration guiding you through the absolute best features of northern Michaux State Forest. Nestled within the ancient south-central Pennsylvania Appalachian Mountains, these freshly designed courses offer a little bit of everything: swift, flowy single-track, rolling, rooty ridgelines, rocky quad-busting descents, and breathtaking views worth every single drop of sweat.
𝑪𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒔𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒈𝒆:
50K (33ish Miles | 4,400+ ft gain): Sandstone boulder ridgelines, woodland savannah, Mountain Laurel, and technical, toe-grabbing forest paths. Includes a drop bag option at the Brickyard aid station (Mile 19.7).
20 Miler (20 Miles | 3,000 ft gain): Lung-busting climbs, spicy, steep descents, and beautiful, highly runnable stretches on classic, technical Michaux single-track.
Half Marathon (13.1ish Miles | 1,400+ ft gain): A perfect mix of rocky single track, pine needle-strewn ridgelines, and old double track. With a generous 7-hour time limit, this route is highly accessible to serious hikers and ruckers!

50K & 20M: 6:45 AM – 7:45 AM
Half Marathon: 8:15 AM – 9:15 AM

50K & 20 Miler: 8:00 AM (Pre-race meeting at 7:45 AM)
Half Marathon: 9:30 AM (Pre-race meeting at 9:15 AM)

Fully stocked aid stations will feature water, Tailwind electrolyte, Coke, Ginger Ale, fresh fruit, potatoes, potato chips, Fritos, cookies (including gluten-free), gels, blocks, stroopwafel, candy, Rice Krispie treats, pickles... and yes, sometimes even 𝐌𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐁𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐒!
