Our OLMC Festival is April 29-30th, and the Men's Club is honored to host some of the most talented and entertaining live music in the Bay Area, kicking off with a talent show featuring performances by our kids.

FRIDAY APRIL 26
5:00 - 6:45 pm Mount Carmel Festival Opening and Talent Show
Support our kids who sing, dance, tell jokes or otherwise entertain on the Mount Carmel Festival Stage! The talent show is always a highlight and a great confidence builder for our kids to show their talent.
7:00 - 9:30 pm Autocorrect (Dance)
Jam out to the best of dance and rap with Autocorrect, featuring present and former Mount Carmel dads and 2014 American Idol finalist Janel Tan! With a high-octane mix of covers that you love, this posse will kick the festival into high gear.

SATURDAY APRIL 27
1:00 - 3:00 Sound Union Musicians Showcase (rock)
Sound Union is a new community for musicians and music-lovers in Redwood City. Check out the latest and coolest in recording and performance gear in a social environment that makes it easy to meet others who share the same passion for music. We'll kick off the festival with four talented members of this community, starting with....
Andy Swanson, high-energy guitar rocker and cover guy extraordinaire (1-1:30)
Sara deMelo, talented vocalist, singer-songwriter and Mount Carmel Alum (1:30-2pm)
Zale Young, delivers reggae-infused original songs that will get you moving to the beat (2-2:30)
David Hobbes, singer songwriter with jangly guitar licks and clever wordplay (2:30-3)
3:00 - 5:00 Runaway Train (Bluegrass)
Nothing like some banjos and stringed instruments playing bluegrass music to get your Saturday started! Runaway train is a five piece outfit from San Mateo and we are excited to have them back.
5:00 - 6:00 pm Shane's all-request piano bar (tips go to OLMC
Men's Club scholarships)
Sweet Caroline? Friends in Low Places? Sing along with Shane That Tune Shane for an hour while Men's Club serves up tasty margaritas.
6:00 - 8:00 pm Sinister Dexter (funk and soul)
These legends from Stanford have played some of the best high-energy funk and soul music since the 90's. We are so blessed to have Sinister Dexter return to our stage year after year to get the Saturday Dance Party Started.
8:00 - 9:30 pm Heady Vedders (90s rock)
Legendary bass player and vocalist John Avilla makes a triumphant Mount Carmel Return to join Joe Rakow (drums) Andrew Rezvani (lead guitar) and Shane McLaughlin (vox and rhythm guitar) for the inaugural gig for the Heady Vedders, playing your favorite 90's rock songs!

SUNDAY APRIL 30
1:00-3:00 Two Week Streak (modern country)
A five-piece modern country outfit from San Mateo, please help us welcome Two Week Streak to the Mount Carmel Festival for their first appearance with us! Think Garth Brooks and Shania Twain with a little Johnny Cash mixed in. Bring your boots for foot-stomping fun.
3:00-5:00 The Recurrents (classic rock)
These Gilroy natives play the best of classic rock with an extra percussionist or two thrown into the mix. Featuring Mount Carmel's Mike Claire on keys, these rockers have appeared at the Festival many years now and never disappoint.
5:00-7:00 Busy Lighthouse (rock and roll)
Alt rockers out of Davis play high-energy alternative original music and killer interpretations of the greatest rock songs of the ages. These young guys have graced our stage for many years now and they close out the entertainment with their incredible musicianship and stage show. Don't miss them!
7:00 - 8:00 raffle and wrapup
We close the festival every year with a raffle of many fantastic donated products and services to our school. Be sure to get your tickets and cross your fingers to win some premium stuff!
