Our annual MUSICAL MAY series continues May 17th with a screening of Baz Luhrmann's MOULIN ROUGE! at the historic #babcocktheatre! This Musical romance has the glamorous Parisian Moulin Rouge nightclub as the main setting, where on the cusp of the start of the 20th century, a young poet is flung into a passionate affair with Satine, the club's most notorious and beautiful star. Chock full of musical numbers and brimming with colorful costumes and elaborate set design that envelope a passionate story of love and lust, it is no wonder why MOULIN ROUGE! is regarded as one of the most beloved musicals to come out of the 2000s!
