Mott Haven - Old Morrisania Historic Walking Tour
About this Event
Join Bronx Borough Historian Angel Hernandez on an informative stroll through one of our borough's oldest neighborhoods - Mott Haven. Formally part of the ancient Morrisania manorlands that played part in our nation's founding, Mott Haven today is a vibrant community that serves as a vestige of early Bronx history. To learn more about The Bronx's place in our nation's 250th anniversary, meet us on Saturday, July 11th at the southeast corner of E.138" Street and Lincoln Avenue, outside the Third Avenue #6 train stop. This walking tour is the first installment of the Bronx 250 walking tour Summer series. These tours are free of chrarge and usually last about two hours, with extensive walking. Bring comfy shoes and sufficient water.
