Come hang out with other bikers! We're a friendly bunch; anyone and everyone is welcome - even if you don't have a bike, you're still welcome!For our final meet for 2024, I thought I'd host a Christmas Eve gathering, for those of us that have no other plans. Lets get together and celebrate with our own bike family!
I thought it would be cool to see the famous lights on Franklin Road, just up the hill from The Birdcage Tavern. We will organise a QUIET ride up and down the street, to see the lights. Obviously we will be very visible to the public, and I expect the traffic to be moderate to busy, so please ride accordingly and carefully! There will be security and possibly Police in attendance as well, so please be respectful of the environment and the other members of public.
I'm yet to confirm a starting point for this meet, but it will be somewhere fairly central to Auckland City. Most of our regular spots are already booked out with functions, so we might just end up meeting at Bastion Point, or maybe even Mission Bay. I'll keep this page posted as the plans develop. Feel free to post any suggestions in the discussion area of this page!
Our numbers are growing at every event, which is awesome to see, but as always, DISRESPECTFUL BEHAVIOUR WILL ABSOLUTELY NOT BE TOLERATED! - no excessive revving, no wheelies or stoppies, no racing to or away from (or during) the meet, and no burnouts. Anyone that fails to follow these rules will be excluded from this and all future events, NO EXCEPTIONS!
