Have you ever wondered what comes alive after dark?
Join Wander Woman for a unique evening at Prairie Center Nature Preserve as we explore the fascinating world of moths and other nocturnal insects. After sunset, we'll hike together to the pond area where glowing UV lights and white sheets will attract an incredible variety of moths for us to observe, photograph, and identify.
You'll learn about the important role moths play in our ecosystem, discover the diversity of species found right here in Kansas, and experience the prairie in a whole new way under the night sky. Whether you're a seasoned nature lover or simply curious, this beginner-friendly adventure is a fun and unforgettable way to connect with nature after dark.
