Mother's Day Paint N' Pizza

Mother's Day Paint N' Pizza: Join us on Sat May 11, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Oasis Social Ministry for a fun-filled afternoon of youth empowerment, bonding, and delicious pizza. Show your love and appreciation for your maternal bond by creating a beautiful piece of art together. No experience is necessary, as our creative facilitators will guide you and your child every step of the way. As we take a painting intermission, enjoy some tasty pizza with your loved ones. Don't miss out on this special opportunity to bond and celebrate Mother's Day uniquely and memorably.

This event is part one of a three-part youth empowerment series. Your child(ren) can attend one event, or your child (ren) can attend all three events over the next four weeks. This event is for youth ages 7-13.

Themes: (Your child(ren) can attend ONE or all three events)

• Part 1 is "I See Me." We will facilitate mother and child (together or separately) to create a painting masterpiece enabling self-awareness and proactive language.
• Part 2 is "What I wish you (mom, dad, grandmother/father, or guardian) would know about me." Effective communication is a critical element of youth empowerment. We will facilitate a creative art project (kid's choice) enabling a conversation and/or discussion centered around your child's (ren) voice and emotional intelligence.
• Part 3 is “Power in Me". We will facilitate the creation of youth vision boards. The heart of youth empowerment is enabling your child(ren) to know they have unlimited power for their respective vision.
