We extend a warm invitation to all to participate in this outstanding Mother's Day Memorial Hike hosted by Mommy & Me Hikes, Sedona AZ. We have organized a Mother's Day Memorial Hike in tribute to Zaynab Joseph. Zaynab was an extraordinary mother who tragically lost her life on Bear Mountain last April. Zaynab was a remarkable individual, both inside and out, and an exemplary mother. Unfortunately, she was a victim of domestic violence throughout her entire marriage until her untimely passing leaving behind three beautiful children for whom she would have done anything for, given the chance. We are steadfast in our commitment to ensure that Zaynab's memory never fades, her name becomes etched in our collective memory forever, and her family can hopefully receive some closure. To this end, we have chosen to pay tribute to her by hosting a fundraiser aiming to raise $5,000 for the Hope Women's Center - Northern Arizona in Zaynab Joseph's name. We will also be hiking up Bear Mountain with Zaynab's family where they will be placing a custom-made memorial stone generously donated by Sedona Copy and Engraving. For those who feel inclined to participate in this more challenging hike, please join us on this morning to demonstrate your support for Zaynab's family. For those unable to hike, a donation would be greatly appreciated, or you can simply visit the trailhead to offer your condolences and support from our community. We eagerly anticipate witnessing our community coming together to show support for this family who has suffered an unimaginable loss while we continue to raise awareness about domestic violence and secure funds to aid those in need. 💓#womenempoweringwomen
