Mother's Day High Tea - Featuring Fumee Jazz Trio

Celebrate Mother’s Day with an intimate afternoon of music at the Colvin House, featuring a special performance by Christy Bennett (vocals), Casey Nielsen (guitar), and Christopher Nolte (bass). This talented trio will present a thoughtfully curated program honoring women composers and songwriters—many of whom were mothers themselves—alongside beloved classics arranged in rich three-part harmony.

Set in the warm and elegant surroundings of the Colvin House, the performance invites guests to relax, reflect, and enjoy a meaningful musical tribute to motherhood in all its forms. With expressive vocals and heartfelt interpretations, Bennett, Nielsen, and Nolte bring both artistry and sincerity to this unique Tea Time celebration.

We will also have a selection of alcoholic beverages for sale onsite at Colvin House!

Parking Info:

The first 15 cars can park FREE at George B. Swift Elementary School, just two blocks west of Colvin House (as space allows). Please come to Colvin House's back door (off Thorndale Ave) first to receive a parking permit from staff who will provide further instructions.

We also recommend The Malibu Condominiums (6007 N Sheridan) public garage, just across the street, north of Colvin House. This parking can be validated by Colvin House for $2.00 off.

Those valet rates are as follows:

· 1 Hour: $6

· 2 Hours: $10

· 3 Hours: $11

· 4 Hours: $13

We recommend arriving early if you need to park.
