(The PREREQUISITE for this class is Silversmithing Level 1 - Meet The Butane Torch or prior butane torch silver soldering)
In this special Mother’s Day edition, soldering class students will learn the basic equipment, safety and materials for silver soldering while creating sterling silver giftable earrings and/or a pendant. In class we’ll cover solder types and temperatures, metal properties, and applications for multi operation soldering. The prerequisite for this class is Meet the Butane Torch and provides the prerequisite for continuing onto level 3 silversmithing classes. Jewelry boxes, wrap and gift bags provided.
There is a supply kit fee made payable to the teacher day of class by cash or check. Please come prepared to pay this fee.
All other tools will be available for use.
