Native Long Island, NY veteran singer/piano player David Clark presents “All About Billy Joel”, The Billy Joel Tribute! “All About Joel” continues to gain popularity across the country with stunningly accurate piano playing lead vocals, and a similar stage look to the Pian Man himself while engaging the audience with wit and humor. He started studying the piano at age 6, but it was at 10 years old when Joel’s “The Stranger” was released. That was a transformative experience in his life, which drove him to be part of the Long Island & NY area music scene starting in 1985. He has carved out a solid reputation as a piano player, singer, and performer at countless private events and concerts around the northeastern tri-state area and beyond. All of these experiences have led him to the present day – staying connected to his piano/vocal roots and his childhood hero by presenting a tribute to the music he loves, from the very singer/songwriter/performer who inspired and motivated him to pursue a life of music…. BILLY JOEL! David had the honor and privilege of performing with former members of Billy Joel’s recording and touring bands, including the 2013 reunion called “Long, Long Time”, recreating the 1972 WMMR Philadelphia Sigma Radio concert featuring bassist Larry Russell, drummer Rhys Clark, and guitarist Don Evans. On 10/23/2014, David performed as the lead singer and piano player at the Long Island Music Hall of Fame inductions of the Lords of 52nd Street, featuring saxophonist Richie Cannata, guitarist Russell Javors, and drummer Liberty DeVitto. The band toured with David as their lead vocalist from 2014 - 2020. David currently resides in NJ with his wife, Smoot Jazz trumpet sensation, Cindy Bradley, and their 5 dogs.
