Mother's Day Appreciation Cruise

In recognition of Mother’s Day, Mothers for Justice and Equality proudly presents the MJE Mothers Appreciation Cruise—a special celebration honoring extraordinary mothers in our community.

This event is dedicated to uplifting and saluting mothers who have overcome some of life’s most difficult challenges while continuing to care for their families, support their communities, and uplift others. Their strength, resilience, and commitment to service reflect the powerful role mothers play in building stronger and more compassionate communities.

At MJE, we recognize that not every family has access to the resources, opportunities, or support systems needed to navigate difficult times. Yet many mothers rise above these challenges with determination, grace, and unwavering love for their children and their communities.

During this special celebration, five remarkable mothers will be honored with the MJE Courage and Conviction Award. This award recognizes women who have demonstrated extraordinary resilience, leadership, and commitment to their families and communities despite significant adversity.

These mothers represent the quiet strength that exists in neighborhoods across our city—women who continue to lead with love, courage, and determination even when the path forward is uncertain.
