Mother's Day Afternoon Tea-tails

Join us on Sunday May 12, 2024 for a delightful afternoon celebrating all the amazing moms out there. Treat yourselves to the unique experience of a three-part pairing of tea-infused cocktails and classic small bites provided by Blue Heron Community Cooperative.

You'll start your cocktail experience with lapsang souchong, a rich and smokey black tea that we've mixed with our Tumwater Reserve Whiskey and sweetened with pear.

Next, we have prepared a delicately floral combination of Iccha Kariban and our Elk Rider Gin. We've lifted the grassy notes of this green tea with a light touch of ginger and honey.

For the final course, we'll end with a showstopper. Stunningly beautiful butterfly blue pea dances with our lavender vodka and is served with a sidecar of lemon and simple. Magic happens at the table as the cocktails changes before your eyes.

Don't drink? No problem! We have mocktail versions of each beverage ready to spark inspiration for your zero-proof journeys.

Each course will be paired with a small bite that compliments the flavor profile and follows the traditional flow of an afternoon tea — a savory cucumber sandwhich, a scone with cream and jam, and ending with two small sweet treats.
