Lost Island Entertainment presents:
Mother Vulture
Described as “one of Britain's most exciting new noises” by Kerrang! and “The new kings
of British rock music” by Distorted Sound, Mother Vulture are turning heads with their now
infamously energetic live shows and critically acclaimed debut album Mother Knows Best.
Combining off kilter octave-pedaled alt punk fury with the bombastic and eccentric
tendencies of stadium filling rock legends creates an outfit that were as at home at
Bloodstock as they were at ArcTanGent. Everyone agrees it’s a hard sound to put a finger
on, but it's impossible to look away.
The past 2 years have seen the band make festival appearances at ArcTanGent,
Bloodstock, Bearstone (Croatia), Leopallooza and Steelhouse, Burn it Down and a
headline slot at Dot to Dot Bristol, as well as supports for the likes of Reef, Feeder, 68,
Steel Beans, Jamie Lenman + Michael Monroe.
Chargr
Chargr are fronted by a guy who sometimes wears a disco ball on his head, playing energetic indie-pop songs about peer pressure at pedestrian crossings, unconditional love for irritating offspring, coding software robots and about just being ok with yourself.
Drawing inspiration from artists such as Metronomy, Ween, MGMT and Super Furry Animals, Chargr is the brainchild of Charlie Wood, whose journey began in 2002 when he fronted eccentric alternative pop band, The Retro Spankees. In their heyday, The Retro Spankees starred alongside Noddy Holder in the video for Misty's Big Adventure's ironic hit Fashion Parade, were briefly the backing band for graphic novelist Alan Moore and their track "Here We Go" featured on James Acaster's Netflix show, "Repertoire".
Lilith’s Army
“Liliths Army are a 3-piece rock/grunge band from the UK, hitting the underground rock scene in 2005 the band have achieved positive media acclaim. Hitting number 4 in the UK Alternative Rock Chart with the single “Drain me”, the band have toured the UK and the USA and featured at a number of music festivals including Glastonbury. After a hiatus, the band are back on the road with a NYC and national tour throughout 2023. Their new album due for release in 2024 is currently in production. A band not to be missed for fans of L7, Lush, Garbage and Vampyre Heart. Two guys, one gal, and a full-frontal assault of pure grunge!”.
Ricochet
Ricochet are a four piece British indie rock band from Milton Keynes.
The band was originally put together by songwriters Gary Carter (front man) and Karl Gamble (lead guitar). They are joined by Scottish legend Andy Biles (Bass) and drum machine Matt Dawson.
The band formed in 2022, having started the idea during the Covid lockdown. Not long after, the band started to write their own material, taking inspiration from rock legends Foo Fighters and Green Day, fused with the melodic guitar tones of Oasis and The Stone Roses.
