Mother Tongue: Roots and Reunion
About this Event
Mother Tongue returns on Friday 6 November for another intimate evening of live music, good conversations and beautiful people from across Africa, the Caribbean and the wider Black diaspora.
After our first gathering in September, we're bringing everyone together again in East London. Whether you're coming for the music, the culture or simply to meet new people, there's a place for you here.
What's happening?
Heavadny: Soulful live music shaped by her Sierra Leonean roots.
Jah Menenites: Unique, Caribbean-rooted harmonies from the group.
TalkSharp AI: Discover a creative way to reconnect with African languages.
NHS Blood and Transplant: A community spotlight on blood donation and why it matters.
Village Interludes I & II: Two conversations between the music where everyone gets to have their say on engaging topics concerning our communities.
Come for the music, stay for the people. Follow @ourmothertongueuk on Instagram for updates. Questions? [email protected]
