MOTHER of All Comedy Shows

The MOTHER of All Comedy Shows is a hilarious live stand up comedy show featuring the funniest performers in the DMV. We book a line up of women and non-binary performers because these babes are badass and you deserve some hilarious comedy!

Come on out and enjoy this smart and sassy night of comedy. And whether you are a mother or have a mother or love a mother or do the mothering for someone special, we celebrate you! This is comedy by women and funny for everyone so grab a drink, sit back, and get ready to laugh!

This show also features a few graduates of Grassroots Comedy's "You Belong on Stage" Standup Comedy Incubator for Women and Nonbinary Folx, a new program for aspiring comedians to build community and workshop material.

Talent Bios

is a disabled writer and comedian from Washington, DC. She is a contributing writer to the disability-humor site "The Squeaky Wheel."

is a Washington, D.C. area comedienne who brings laughter to the joyless masses of our nation’s capital through her imaginative over-analysis of everyday life. Clever and sarcastic, Dana will merrily pontificate on groundbreaking and original topics like her pug, driving, and eating. Dana comes from a nonprofit background and is excited to lend her voice to less important issues.
Dana is the regular host of PUN DMV (the DC Improv's quarterly pun contest) and a producer with Grassroots Comedy, where she runs the "You Belong on Stage" Incubator for Women and Nonbinary Folx. She's opened for touring comedians including Paul Virzi and Bengt Washburn and has has performed at the DC Improv, DC Drafthouse, Howard Theatre, Arch City Comedy Festival, Contemporary Jewish Museum, and She Devil Comedy Festival.

is a multi-faceted performer based in Austin, Texas. As a Marine Corps veteran and second-generation immigrant, Demi offers audiences diverse and unconventional perspectives. She has performed at a variety of notable venues across the country including the Kennedy Center, DC Improv, and The Comedy Mothership. She has been featured in publications including The Washington Post, At Ease Magazin, DCist, and Inside NoVA. Demi also served as the Tour Manager for Best Medicine Brigade’s “Operation HEAL*ARIOUS” tour in 2023

About Improbable Comedy:
Founded by social-worker-turned-comedy-producer , Improbable Comedy has hosted more than 150 shows in local venues around the DMV. The goal has been to transform the industry by giving the mic to hilarious comedians who have been underrepresented on stage. Since our first show at Vicino's restaurant in 2012, we have brought big laughs to theatres, bars, swanky clubs, and people's homes. We now have regular shows at Busboys & Poets and the Arts Barn as well as bigger events with the Montgomery Parks Department and at the Silver Spring Black Box Theatre.
