A Mother Garden is a garden that helps give birth to a new garden through the growing, propagation and sharing of plants and skills. This workshop will introduce you to the principles and practices of Mother Gardens, including learning about different forms of plant propagation, details of unusual and useful plants, how to set and create your own Mother Garden space, and how to develop your own local group of Mother Gardeners. The workshop will be led by Felipe Molina from Food Forest Brum, based at Fircroft College. It will be held between 10.30am and 1.30pm (with a short break) on Friday 13th June at the Carless Eco Centre. The Eco Centre is a two-minute walk from the Main Hall and accessible from Wentworth Gate or Carless Avenue.
This workshop is free to attend thanks to generous funding from Edgbaston NNS.
