About this Event

Experience the incredible world of moths and celebrate National Moth Week at the Cosumnes River Preserve Visitor Center from 8:30 pm to 11:00 pm, Friday, July 24th. We’ll start the evening with a short presentation then we’ll spend the night learning about, viewing, and documenting our local moth populations using the sheet and black light method. We recommend you bring a headlamp/flashlight, phone/camera, and water. If you choose to wear bug spray, please apply before the event to keep our moth friends safe. Thank you!
