Mosswood Meltdown, one of the premiere underground rock festivals in the country, returns to Oakland’s Mosswood Park July 19th & 20th, 2025. Thus far for 2025, we'll be hosting the pioneers of De-Evolutionary theory, legendary art punk band, DEVO, from Akron Ohio, as well as San Francisco legends, Osees, The Queen of Oakland, Kreayshawn , Portland’s only Rock n Roll band, The Exploding Hearts, and bloody Belgium’s, The Kids! Mosswood will also be starring Oakland sweethearts Shannon & The Clams, surf punkers La Luz, anthemic indie-rock sisters Bleached, Nashville egg punks Snõõper for their second time at the park, Miami bass hip-hop group L’Trimm, and glam rock band Giuda.
And as in years’ past, it wouldn’t be Mosswood Meltdown without its incomparable host, John Waters.
