Mosquito Prevention with Mult. Co Vector Control at Division

Join Multnomah County Vector Control to learn about controlling mosquitoes in your backyard and garden. We will discuss a brief natural history of the mosquito, its life cycle, the public health risks associated with mosquitoes, and how to prevent them in your own backyard. You will also learn how Multnomah County controls mosquitoes on a broader scale and how to get help. There will be time for your questions and to look at our mosquito reference collection.

***All classes at Division this summer will be held in our greenhouse Hoop House 2, which is located out in the yard of the nursery, near the trees and small fruits. It is a large greenhouse that functions as a covered outdoor area. If the weather is warm, we will have water available, but please remember to dress so that you are comfortable during the presentation.***
