Mosaic Christmas Ornaments: A Beginner-Friendly Workshop
Get creative this holiday season and make your very own one-of-a-kind mosaic ornaments!
In this fun, beginner-friendly workshop, students will transform a variety of colorful materials into beautiful, personalized ornaments that are perfect for decorating your Christmas tree or giving as handmade gifts!
Choose from a variety of pre-cut glass pieces, or get a little more creative by cutting your own glass to bring your design to life. Whether you prefer a traditional holiday look or something completely unique, the possibilities are endless!
All materials are provided, but students are also welcome to bring their own special items to incorporate into their creations. Some fun options include seashells, broken ceramic dishes or glassware, tiles, beads, gems, stones, marbles, mirrors, buttons, and more! This is a wonderful opportunity to give new life to old treasures or create a meaningful keepsake using items that hold special memories.
No previous mosaic experience is necessary. Just bring your creativity and get ready to have some fun!
*Special Allergan Notice: UV Resin will be utilized in the making process. Those allergic or sensitive to resin should consider this before attending this workshop.*
Workshop Pricing
Your registration includes all materials needed to create one mosaic ornament.
SHAK Members: $30
Non-Members: $35
Additional Ornaments: $10 each
Important Workshop Details
Students may create up to 5 ornaments total during the workshop.
Additional ornaments are $10 each, payable on the day of class via cash or Venmo.
Students are encouraged to pre-order their preferred ornament designs to help ensure their desired frames are available during the workshop.

*Please email ornament design choices to [email protected] at least 3 days before the workshop. If Jen has not received these by then she will contact students. Please indicate design name and quantity of each you would like to make.*

Ages & Minor Participants
Students ages 12 and older are welcome.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult who is willing to assist as needed. An adult attending only to assist a minor may attend at no charge. Adults who would like to create their own stained glass piece must register and pay as a student.
If you will be attending as an assistant only, please contact instructor Jen Martin ahead of time so an additional seat can be prepared: [email protected]
What to Wear & Bring
Closed-toe shoes are REQUIRED. Students who arrive without closed-toe shoes will not be permitted to participate.
SHAK provides shared safety glasses and protective gloves. You're welcome to bring your own safety glasses and thick gardening or safety gloves if you prefer.

Refunds and transfers to another class date are granted only on a limited, case-by-case basis.
