Join Morro Bay State Park and CCSPA for an Open House and Mind Walk event at the Museum of Natural History! Explore the museum's newest exhibitory and be guided through a Virtual Reality goggle experience! New Exhibit: Explore the museum's sensitive collection artifacts on the new 3D virtual touch table! Click on animals, geologic features and other natural artifacts to take a closer look. Rotate selected objects 360 degrees and read or listen to uncover the story behind these curious local artifacts.

Mind Walk Experience 5:30 pm: Adventure and explore, using Virtual Reality goggles at the Morro Bay Museum of Natural History. This immersive and interpretive experience will allow you to see your State Parks in a whole new way! Virtually swim around the San Simeon pier with a school of anchovies! See the beach through the eyes of an elephant seal and hike your way up the tallest peak in Morro Bay State Park to experience a beautiful sunrise!
