It’s a Zombie apocalypse… but instead it’s Morris dancers, and it’s funny
Join Joe Brooks for a completely true story that hasn’t happened yet. Joe has noticed people are taking a general interest in Morris Dancing.
Morris Dancing sides (for that is what you call a group of them) are popping up everywhere. The clothes become the fashion, bells jingle around the place, and sticks are held in the street. It's very interesting and odd. Each to their own, but Joe doesn’t want to do Morris; all he wants to do is Tango.
But ONLY Morris is allowed. MAY DAY MAY DAY!
How will we all survive this Morris Dancing apocalypse? Can a Maypole be used as a weapon? Will he ever dance the Tango? Can he even dance? What does it all mean?
Joe Brooks is Actor/Theatre-Maker/Stand-up from Weston-super-Mare. He is known for his comic work with theatre companies ShouldaWouldaCoulda, Atomic Rhubarb and Me Monster and Bonnet Dog, which brought their Comedy Ghost show “A Knight of Terror” to the acron last February.
