Begin the day at 10 am by learning “How to Craft a Compelling Query Letter” with author Liz Alterman.
At 11am, authors Mally Becker, Nev March, and Lori Robbins lead this panel presentation on top tips to start your novel and, just as importantly, top things to avoid.
At 1pm, historical fiction writer Michelle Cameron will discusses the balance required in historical fiction and the different ways writers address the question: what’s real and what’s imagined?
At 1 pm, draw along with children’s illustrator Mike Moran.
At 2 pm, join Nick Caponi, professional cartoonist and instructor from the Joe Kubert School of Cartooning and Graphics as he demonstrates cartooning techniques.
In addition to the workshops, there will be book signings, poetry activities, and more. We look forward to seeing you at Morris Author's Day!
