MORPC: The Big Table
About this Event
Join the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC) and the City of Columbus' Innovation Team on Tuesday, September 29 for "The Big Table," a community-wide day of conversation as we come together for an engaging conversation on Air Quality: Protecting our Air, Preserving our Future. During this event, attendees will discover the role we all play in creating a healthier, more sustainable Central Ohio. Participants will also learn how outdoor and indoor monitoring can be paired together to empower residents to reduce their exposure to poor air quality.
Members of MORPC's Air Quality Program will share lessons learned from the neighborhood outdoor monitoring program and what individuals can do to protect their local air quality. The Columbus Innovation Team will share findings from their indoor air quality monitoring pilot, including what residents learned about air pollution exposure and low-cost home practices.
Whether you're passionate about sustainability, curious about environmental issues, or simply want to help make a positive difference in our community, your voice matters.
Bring your questions and your perspective as we discuss what role community air quality monitoring, education and support can play in local policy and programs.
Join the conversation. Share your perspective. Be part of the solution.
