Mt Toubkal is a mountain peak in south western Morocco, located in the Toubkal National Park. At 4,167 metres, it is the highest peak in the Atlas Mountains and in North Africa. On this trip we’ll aim to summit four peaks above 4000 meters - all of which are exciting and involve some easy scrambling.
This 6 day guided trip is suitable for anyone with some mountain walking / scrambling experience. and can be used as an introduction to winter mountaineering. This is more than just a Toubkal trip, we will aim to get you to the summit of four 4000 meters peaks. The peaks we will try to climb are Toubkal 4167m, Toubkal West 4030m, Ras 4083m and Timezguida 4089m taking the total of peaks to four.
The peaks here are a perfect introduction to higher mountain summits being just over 4000 meters in height. The summits themselves aren't technical but involve some moderate scrambling similar to that of Crib Goch in Snowdonia or Striding Edge in the Lake District.
Porters will even carry your heavy bags to the hut from Imlil making your ascent that much easier and more enjoyable.
