This latest edition of the Mornings with the Maestro series is a preview to Lucia di Lammermoor, our Season 18 closing opera.Whether you are new to opera, a seasoned aficionado, or somewhere in between - you will love our Mornings with the Maestro series.
Join Maestro Mark Sforzini and the principal cast of Lucia di Lammermoor for an educational, engaging, and entertaining musical overview of the opera, including Chelsea Lehnea in the titular role of Lucia. Ms. Lehnea most recently graced the St Pete Opera stage as the slave girl Liù in our production of Puccini's Turandot. You absolutely will not want to miss the effortless grace with which she interprets this difficult coloratura repertoire. Another fantastic returning voice to our stage is Ben Werley, singing the role of Edgardo, Lucia's true love. Mr. Werley has previously sung the role of Cavaradossi in our production of Puccini's Tosca, and the Duke of Mantua in our production of Verdi's Rigoletto.
