Morning Yoga in the Garden
About this Event
This all-levels yoga class combines mindful movement, breath awareness, and relaxation techniques to support strength, mobility, balance, and overall well being.
Participants will be guided through accessible yoga postures and movement practices designed to help release tension, improve flexibility, and cultivate a sense of calm and connection. The natural beauty of the Garden provides the perfect setting to slow down, recharge, and enjoy a mindful start to the day.
Enjoy some mint tea from the Garden before heading back to The George and Kathy Dembroski Centre for Horticulture to complete your visit. Feel free to bring a mug for tea!
No prior yoga experience is required. Modifications and options will be offered to accommodate a range of abilities and experience levels.
Please bring your own yoga mat and any props that help you feel comfortable and supported in your practice.
Please meet at the TBG main entrance, just outside the George and Kathy Dembroski Centre for Horticulture promptly at 8:15 a.m. Participants will be lead on a short walk to the yoga location.
This is an outdoor yoga class. In the case of dangerous or severe weather, the program will be moved indoors. Please note, the walk up to the grounds includes a short walk uphill with some steps and uneven slopes. If you have any accessibility concerns, please reach out to [email protected].

About Laura Bianchi
Laura is a certified Yoga Therapist and yoga teacher based in Toronto. She offers group yoga classes and individualized yoga therapy sessions that support physical, emotional, and nervous system wellbeing through safe, adaptive, and thoughtfully guided practices.
Laura has experience working with diverse populations and specializes in creating accessible, inclusive classes that help participants improve mobility, reduce stress, build resilience, and cultivate a deeper connection with their bodies. Her teaching style is warm, supportive, and focused on meeting each person where they are, making yoga approachable and beneficial for people of all ages and experience levels.
