Morning Meditation Practice (Special Event)
Join me in this Special Morning Meditation Practice session, that will involve mindfulness, walking meditation and forest bathing!
About this Event

Come join me on this special meditation session, on the 6th day of Chinese New Year! We will be spending 1.5 hours for this session instead of the usual 1 hour.

In this special session, we will be going on a walking meditation and what is known as "Forest Bathing". As we mindfully explore Fort Canning Park early in the morning, we not only get to breath in fresh morning air, but also enough the negative ions generated by the tress and plants.

Research has shown that negative ions are beneficial to us mentally and physically. Such benefits are:

- help regulate sleep patterns and mood

- reduce stress

- boost immune system function

- increase metabolism of carbs and fats

- K*ll or inhibit the growth of harmful bacteria, viruses, and mold species.

Please wear good walking shoes that can also be removed easily, bring along some tea and snacks, as we will find a spot to have a bit of mindful eating and enjoying the atmosphere, as well as insect repellant if you are bothered by mosquitoes and other insects. During the session, we will request you to switch your mobile phones to silent mode.
