GRASSY WATERS PRESERVE
Saturday, October 25, 2025
9:00-11:00 a.m.
Grassy Waters Preserve is a wetland ecosystem and remnant of the northern Everglades. It is critical to the restoration of the Loxahatchee River and serves as the water supply for the West Palm Beach Public Utilities. Join us to explore the undisturbed freshwater marsh, cypress swamp and forested hammock of this vitally important area. Lauren Butcher, environmental education coordinator for Grassy Waters, will guide us to the water's edge and along the boardwalk.
This event is open to FNPS members.
Space is limited to 16.
Email Helen/Julia to be put on the wait list, if need be.
