Moretime’s First Ever Dog Social

Join us for the very first Moretime Dog Social—a fundraising event where dogs get to play, pet parents get to connect, and all net proceeds go directly to Zoe’s Animal Rescue to cover veterinary care for their rescues.

The Details

When: April 26th

Time: Sessions starting at 11am and 12:30pm

Where: CEC Space, 13620 163 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5V 0B2 (Edmonton Humane Society)

Cost: By donation, minimum $15

Each session includes 75 minutes of off-leash play time, on-site dog trainers, a gift bag for you and your pup (value of over $50!), and a community of dog parents who love their pets like family.

Which session is right for you?

To ensure the social is safe and fun for your pup, we’re hosting two sessions on April 26th:

Session 1, at 11 am, is for dogs under 40 pounds.

Session 2, at 12:30 pm, is for dogs over 40 pounds.

What to Expect

• Off-leash play time supervised by the Revolution Animals team
• A gift bag (focused on the pet parent, because you deserve it) valued at over $50 and packed with goodies from some of our favourite brands
• A warm community of people who love their animals like family

Dog Requirements

To keep tails wagging and everyone safe, all dogs attending must meet the following:

Temperament

Your dog must be friendly and comfortable around other dogs, with no history of aggression toward dogs or humans

Health & Vaccinations

• Fully up-to-date on core vaccinations—rabies, distemper, parvovirus, and bordetella
• Free of any contagious illness or condition on the day of the event
• Female dogs in heat are (unfortunately) not permitted to attend

On the Day

• All dogs must arrive on leash and remain leashed until directed to the off-leash area by staff
• Please keep your dog from interacting with other dogs while on leash
• You're welcome to bring a treat pouch for your pup—just please don't share with other dogs without checking with their owner first
• Owners are responsible for their dog's behaviour at all times

About Moretime

Moretime was created because we all deserve more time with the pets we love. Through community events and shared experiences, we bring pet parents together to raise money for veterinary care for pets and families who need it most.

Our Why

Hi. I’m Sophie, the creator of Moretime. And Moretime was founded to honour the love of my life, Rio. For nearly 10 years, he was my constant. He always knew when I needed him. And I needed him a lot.

Then, he got sick. And he needed me. After 9 long months, many vet visits and hospital stays, on April 27th 2024, Rio lost his battle with PLE. And my life forever changed.

Within my grief, I kept thinking of all of the families who have to say goodbye because of the cost of care.

So, I decided to do something about it, and that’s exactly why Moretime exists.

My hope is that this is just the beginning, and that we build a community of pet parents who want to celebrate their love for their animals while helping other families have more time with theirs.

We'll be hosting more events throughout the year, including gatherings designed for pet parents who want to connect, grieve, and celebrate—no dog required.
