More Than Words Vol. 5, featuring Pop Stars! @ 21c St. Louis

Join us for an enchanting evening of poetic expression at More Than Words, a monthly celebration of spoken word expression. ✨

Begin the evening by exploring our second floor exhibition Pop Stars! Popular Culture and Contemporary Art and record your reflections on several of the artworks in the exhibition, including artworks by Mickalene Thomas, April Bey, and Frances Goodman. These group musings will be stitched together and shared by word artist Pacia Anderson.

At 7pm, step up to the mic and share your own literary creations or simply revel in the diverse voices of our community. Finally, beginning at 8:30pm experience the readings of our featured presenters, Pacia Anderson, Heather Kays, Christos George and RC, who will be sharing their original poetry. Anderson will share an original composition inspired by an artwork in the Pop Stars! exhibition and the joined responses from the audience.
