Celebrating the World Cup through Art and Music offers a diverse range of activities to attract a broad audience and provide a unique opportunity to celebrate and preserve Houston's cultural heritage while promoting our Houston emerging artists. THE MORE THAN A GOAL exhibit provides unparalleled exposure to international audiences who will be introduced to Houston art and music through the MORE THAN A GOAL art installations and artist talk, providing them with cultural aptitude while showcasing Houston's commitment to becoming a regional cultural destination during the game.

The exhibition will strengthen communities and improve lives through extraordinary cultural experiences and redefine soccer culture ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026. With exhibition and live performances to reimagined jerseys and daily shows, 3 Houston artists will turn their canvas into identity, culture, and connection. In a city where storytelling and sports naturally intersect, artists will explore how soccer can serve as both a cultural mirror and a canvas for identity ahead of the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup 2026.

The exhibitions and artist Talk/performances will be on July 18th, 2026 at SAID INSTITUTE, 12126 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77077. The goal is to foster emerging, mid-career, and known artists, with the intention of amplifying the professional and artistic development opportunities available to chosen participants.
