MORE Opera's Juneteenth Jubilee 2024

MORE Opera's Juneteenth Jubilee 2024 consists of three (3) family-friendly outdoor musical performances about the history of Juneteenth in celebration of the holiday in Manhattan and the Bronx during the week of June 19th. For a list of venues visit www.moreopera.com/juneteenth.

The program includes an original dramatic narrative explaining the importance of Juneteenth for all Americans and exploring its musical and cultural traditions produced by Cheryl Warfield. Dr. Patricio Molina conducts MORE Opera soloists and an intergenerational community chorus in this festive presentation featuring spirituals and opera. In the Bronx family-friendly fun in celebration of Juneteenth takes place at the new Bronx Music Hall Amphitheater at 442 East 162nd Street on Wednesday June 19th at 2:00 PM. Bring a picnic basket and enjoy our bilingual presentation in Spanish and English. Free and open to the public!
