From Ethan Miller: I am thrilled to announce that I have the honor and nearly limitless creative endeavour of being the musical director for “More, More Oar” a tribute to the great Skip Spence and a performance of his outsider masterpiece ‘Oar’ + additional Spence greats. This is a charity event for the excellent MusiCares who are helping musical artists thrive and in many cases survive everyday.
Including my dream Oar house band of Steve Shelley (Sonic Youth), Kash Killion (Sun Ra Arkestra), Steve Turner (Mudhoney), Andy Cabic (Vetiver) and yours truly Ethan Miller (Howlin Rain)!!!
We’ll be announcing additional special guest singers and musicians to follow.
