More Joy…Less Stress: Mind-Body Connection 8-week Journey

The More Joy…Less Stress: Mind-Body Connection 8-week Journey will take you through a learning and experientialpractice of mind-body medicine to improve and align your mind, body and spirit/purpose. It is an evidence-based model with proven outcomes provided by a Certified Mind-Body Medicine coach and practitioner.

HOW:
The Journey includes 8 consecutive weeks of 90 to 120 minute in-person small group sessions at CMC Therapy. Each session consists of a didactic learning piece on one or more mind-body medicine skills/techniques, an experiential process to practice the techniques and a processing/sharing of your experience doing the technique, plus a simple, yet powerful, home practice exercise to instill each skill.
This is coaching, not therapy. It is an opportunity to connect with a certified practitioner in Mind-Body Medicine and a group of like-minded people to learn some powerful, practical, healthy coping skills for dealing with stress, trauma and dis-ease. While the process does include personal sharing, participants are in control of how and what they share.
RESULTS:
These mind-body skills are relatively simple, yet life changing. They can facilitate the body’s ability to heal itself. Research clearly shows that prolonged stress contributes to serious diseases such as high blood pressure, heart irregularities, anxiety, insomnia, persistent fatigue, digestive disorders, mental health issues, diminished fertility, diabetes, and suppresses immune system to name a few.
Mind-Body Medicine teaches self-care and self-healing techniques to reduce and prevent stress, pain and the trauma response, regulate blood pressure, as well as increase and improve sleep, relaxation, digestion, positive mood, thinking and overall brain function. It can also help you be in a state of alignment to have better communication, connection with others and more confidence to create the results you are looking for in all areas of your life!
Regular price is $500…2024 Spring Discount: $400 which includes the Journey of 8 groups @ 90–120-minutes, a 1:1 prep call with the coach, a bonus group (reunion group 1 month after program completion) and valuable handouts and home-practice assignments.
For the full benefit and the support of other group members, each participant is expected to attend all 8 sessions. The bonus session is highly recommended but is not mandatory. None of the sessions are recorded. If for unforeseen circumstances a session is missed, the coach will provide information on the session’s technique and the home practice assignment.

About the event host and testimonials:
Michele DiSorbo, LMHC is a therapist/coach at CMC Therapy. She is also the Founder of BeingOnPurpose, a mind-body wellness and transformational coach, and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. She has dedicated over 2 decades to the vital work of serving adults, youth and families through various clinical and leadership roles. She is committed to bringing her gift of self-healing to others such that they live their best lives with passion, purpose, peace and prosperity. She graduated from Stetson University (B.A. in Psychology and Sociology) and University of Central Florida (M.S. Clinical Psychology). She is certified in Mind-Body Medicine through the Center for Mind-Body Medicine, as well as certified as a Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) practitioner and coach. She has been a local and national speaker & trainer for non-profit leaders, social workers, coaches, nurses, teachers, parents and family foster care providers since 2000. Most importantly, she is a mother of three.
