More Accessible Forest Therapy

Because authentic connection is powerful medicine, I guide Forest Therapy sessions with invitations to deepen your relationship with yourself and nature. The invitations help you explore interbeing through mindfulness and bodyfulness. They are slow and sensory. We begin with a 15 minute guided meditation and go into simple, open-ended activities. There are several opportunities to process and be known through Listening circles.
This is an amazing way to feel alive and get to know the land life!
I host monthly Moonful Forest Therapy sessions in the rustic country, and this opportunity is for folks who want the
benefits of:
*Sidewalk (for wheels/canes, and fewer bugs)
*Shade full coverage (for more coolness)
*In-town (for bus riders and tight schedules)
Free/by donation.
We'll meet in front of Prairie Park Nature Center at 9am and go 1/2 block to a spot on the sidewalk trail.
***
If you can't make it but would enjoy a nature based workshop, please check out other public sessions on my Facebook page or my website www.DivineNatureTherapy.com
Or, for a session that fits your schedule, request a Private Group Session just for you, friends or family.
“Forest Therapy is a research-based framework for supporting healing and wellness through immersion in forests and other natural environments. Forest Therapy is inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku, ‘forest bathing.’ Studies have demonstrated a wide array of health benefits, especially in the cardiovascular and immune systems, and improving mood and cognition. We build on those benefits and look beyond, to what happens when people remember that we are a part of nature, not separate from it, and are related to all other beings in fundamental ways." ~Association of Nature and Forest Therapy
