On Saturday, August 22, 2026 from 12:30-2:30 p.m., Goldfish Swim School Nicholasville Road -- Lexington will host the launch event for More About Standards: The Story of Michael Alexander Stewart (MAS).

More About Standards – The Story of Michael Alexander Stewart – is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting young lives from drowning. It exists to educate families, advocate for stronger water safety standards, and provide resources that help communities prevent tragedy.

Event highlights include:

• A Water Safety Presentation from the Goldfish Swim School Team
• Remarks by MAS founder Alexandria Stewart and Goldfish Swim School Nicholasville Road -- Lexington owner Theresa Carnes
• Water Safety Education materials provided by Safe Kids Fayette County
• Open Family Swim (A $20 donation per family is requested to help provide swim lesson scholarships to Kentucky kids in need.
